Whether working in a child care center, a state preschool, a school-age program, an after school program, or as a provider from the Alternative Payment program, Campus or Migrant center, we can help you in these ways:

TECHNICAL SUPPORT and REQUESTS FOR TRAINING
As a participant of the Santa Cruz County CEL, the Project Manager is available to answer any technical support issue related to the Santa Cruz County CEL system and can provide free of cost additional training for your existing or new staff. Feel free to contact the Program Manager.

THE FACTS ABOUT QUALITY CHILD CARE AND BRAIN DEVELOPMENT 
Current research details how a child's earliest experiences and relationships affect the way his/her brain is organized. During crucial early years of life, the brain is forming connections that may determine a lifetime of skills and potentials. Quality care of young children is key. Some of the findings confirm what parents and caregivers already know - that how the children are raised has an enormous impact on their emotional well-being, intellectual level and skills for success.
